Math geeks in the house?
Oct. 19th, 2003 07:58 pmDoes anyone have experience with this Wolfram product?
yonderboy's Ribbons have left me wanting some geeky math to to play with, and something to put onto the new lab at school. next year, f we have aGeometry class ocne the 9th graders leave, it will be a small class (under 25 for certian). Jodi and I had discussed the potential of running that class as a "pilot" program for a fully computer integrated into geometry course. Geometrs sketch pad is nice, but I think a real tool like Mathematica would be neccesary if I want to have them to any serious/fun explorations.
And then this package shows up which appears to be a stripped down Mathematica combined with a textbook. Anyone have a really good math-centered p2p app so I can find a copy to try? :)
