heiligekuhIt's 5 a.m., and we're leaving the house for the airport/Florida. Ugh. Too early to consider the sweltry reality of spending 5 days with my uber-extended fam. I think I've managed to convince Jodi of what the week will actually be like. Evidence: she's packing over 2000 pages of Neal Stephenson. That's my girl.
My only plan is to purge the goddamn I love the 90's jingle and associated bits of snark from my short term memory. La belle candice is off to SDCC (I'm tempted to add on "from whence she came.") She gets to revisit the lovley Pizza, and the color coded goodness of Lime. And (it sounds like) pick up dozens fo Skull plushies.
Penny Arcade Expo is still on. Big mail...was supposed to be sent before I left, but I may have to do it as phone calls. Listt, more for my edification than yours, is JohnV, Iason, Brad, Nate, Mitch, Casey. Possibly Matt B, and John Forrest/Greg if they've unpacked their asses enough to play videogames with us. It's somewhat exciting to realize that Doom 3 will be out during that week, but even more exciting to realize that I won't have to move my computer on the airplane. So I'll be playing Calibur and Mario Kart, thankyouverymuch.
I bought another set of Diceland, juts for possible cousin entertainment. I'm excited at the thought of abandoning a 25 piece minature game and not giving a fuck.
Ok, LBC will be here soon. Don't mention that I'm off to gatorland again, for the second time in a month.
