Bah. I tried to find a good thread for this in my gaming forum, but there was no such beast. I think I've beaten through the "aggravating" middle section of Halo. It took two hour and a Bocca Box from Trader Joes. Never underestimate the power of a pint glass of chard.

And, actually, it was pretty damn fun. I think I selected the "wussy" skill level when I started the damn thing, but I almost enjoyed getting a chance to repeat the same scenario a half dozen or more times without having to replay the game..

My only experience with Halo for the longest time was sporadic coop levels with nermal or johnV, which were invariably the Warthog beach levels or the "teleport into the enemy ship sequence." Playing through the whole game on my own was nice, because as much as those two levels were the most fun, they were better when you had the other levels in between. But I would never replay the entire game to replay those levels.

I have this strange hang-up where I won't Gamefly Halo 2 until I've beaten the first one (lent to me by Aargos, I should probably mention. So he's the reason I haven't been pirating!). But I don't know if I can switch to the Xbox controller after living by the wonderful WASD/TAB/R/F control scheme that the PC port has.

I had been distraught at the notion that future Snicket books would all have movie at as the covers, instead of Hilquest illustrations as God and Handler intended. But, seeing this I suddenly think I might have to gab copies for the spinning bookshelf. Movie adaptations are favored by the villain? No shit!

Everyone loves ponies. And everyone loves parties. Therefore, everyone must love Pony Parties!
